CANCELED The Dogs I've Known in 2 Wars: Iraq In-Person
March 13th is National K-9 Veterans Day! This day honors the service and sacrifice of American military and working dogs. In recognition of these brave, loyal canines, father and son, Dennis Blocker Senior and Dennis Blocker II, will present the story of senior's time in Baghdad in 2005 and 2006 with his German Shepherd "war" dogs. The presentation will describe life for the father and his dogs in a warzone, what it was like to train dogs for military missions, and the process of writing their book. Photos and videos of the dogs in action will be shown. Q&A and book signing will follow the presentation. Come join us on March 14th for this informative lecture!
